The Greek thrash/heavy metallers TYPHUS, after their successful first album “Mass Produced Perfection’’, return and they are on the verge of a new era for the band and their sound. The band, having forged its identity through many shows, with most notable being its participation in Wacken Open Air 2022, as well as the shows with Ghost and Rotting Christ in Greece, aspires to unleash its long-waited new work, with the valuable help of Sleaszy Rider SRL.
Typhus started as Nuclear Terror back in 2009, released their debut EP ‘’Contaminated Salvation” and performed in a long list of shows throughout the years. Later on, the band changed their name to Typhus in 2019, marking a bold change in the band’s musical direction. Typhus’ debut album Mass Produced Perfection was released shortly after in 2020 and it incorporated elements such as fast paced compositions, relentless guitar work and storytelling lyrics. Having received overwhelmingly encouraging feedback on their first album and a long time promoting it on the road, Typhus entered the studio in 2024 once again, to carry on the flame and deliver their latest endeavour.
