“The Cross”

ASTARTE’s new song comes in a full album including as bonus tracks some -mostly unreleased- material from Tristessa’s appearances on other bands and releases.
Astarte were an all female black metal band from Athens, Greece. Formed in 1995 under their first name Lloth, by Tristessa, Kinthia, Nemesis. Soon and after a demo as Lloth they renamed to Astarte and through the times they released 5 studio albums. The group even prepared a next album (“Bloodemonium”) split up in 2014 after the death of founding member Maria Kolokouri (Tristessa) due to complications from leukemia. Bloodemonium, with all vocals and instruments played and recorded by Tristessa, is in mixing/mastering process by her husband and Astarte late member Nicolas Maiis, and it will be released soon by Sleaszy Rider. “The Cross” will be released also as a 2-track 7″ vinyl.
